Designing the 35-bedroom hotel, Anouska Hempel, drew on her own lifestyle and took inspiration from her travels, masterfully combining sensual, Eastern influences with echoes of Italy and Morocco, and the spirit of a glorious bygone era, to create a property that feels more like a warm and inviting private town home than a hotel, with interiors featuring dark grey and white furnishings and Italian marble flooring.

The onsite Franklin Restaurant by Alfredo Russo offers an intimate dining experience with just 30 seats and modern Italian gastronomy.  Across the lobby is The Franklin Bar – a Gatsby-esque space serving champagne and expertly crafted cocktails set in a romantic space with mirrored walls and velvet furnishings, overlooking the gardens.

The Franklin London is very popular with bridal parties to stay the night before their wedding and to get ready on the day.  It is close to the Brompton Oratory as well as the Chelsea registry office.  The hotel can also organise intimate lunches or dinners after the ceremony.
