Unfortunately for many of you, your weddings have been postponed till next year due to Covid 19. With unprecedented times this year it has been rather a stressful time to organise a wedding, but with some additional time on your hands -we hope that your dream nuptials are just around the corner

For those seeking hen party inspiration for next year, we have enlisted the help of the experts at Fizzbox.com, for their hen weekend predictions for 2021:

The Staycation

The Lockdown and restricted travel has really made us all appreciate what the UK has to offer. For 2021 many will still admire the coastal and city regions of the UK and be in favour of ‘Staycations’ for their hen weekend. The Capital will be buzzing again and trips to London and other popular cities such as: Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh will be high on the hit list.

Additionally, vibrant British seaside resorts such as Bournemouth, Brighton and Cornwall will see a surge in holiday makers and will certainly make for a fun weekend with the girls

Hens will opt for luxury self-catering accommodation, after their long awaited weekends- staying in style is exactly what is needed!

Sequel Hen Parties

With the rise of micro weddings for 2020, we are likely to see that couples host sequel weddings as well as sequel hen and stag dos. This will mean multiple festivities so that they can celebrate with those that matter most. It may include a family and wedding party hen do and then a work colleague hen do. Or even multiple activities over a few weekends and why not, it’s a once in a lifetime celebration and the longer you stretch it out the better

The Great Outdoors

This year we have all grown to love the outdoors; parks, beaches and anywhere that has allowed us to venture outside of our homes safely. With this in mind, next year we will see an increase in popularity of hen party activities that are outside, from Go Karting to water sports and camping to picnic brunches.

Europe

With travel abroad being limited in 2020, hen weekends in Europe will be extremely popular next year. Weddings may be smaller, but there is no expense spared for the pre-nuptial celebrations. Many of you may have acquired travel vouchers from airlines due to cancelled flights so what better way to use them than with a girl’s weekend away, so why not head to one of the European hot spots: Amsterdam, Ibiza, Croatia or Santorini.

Virtual Do

Who would’ve thought it, virtual hen parties actually being a ‘thing’ and a lot of fun?

Nothing beats the atmosphere of a hen weekend with your closest friends and everyone being there to celebrate your new life chapter. Since Lockdown we have seen some creative ways for the hen party to still go on and the virtual version has not disappointed.

Virtual activities will continue for 2021 and will be a great way to include friends and family that may not be able to make the big weekend

So you can have a lively hen weekend in Ibiza and still have your older relatives join in for a virtual cocktail class- a perfect way to have everyone with you that matters the most.
