The CoastGuards Lookout 

As close to an outdoor ceremony venue as it’s possible to be, this completely unique location is perfect for a couple looking for something different but beautiful.

Situated on the rural headland overlooking the coast, the Coastguard’s Lookout offers stunning views over Veryan Bay and beyond. The coastal backdrop presents the perfect scenery for photographs, and opportunities for photographs to be taken on the Beach after the ceremony are encouraged at no extra cost.

This historic, listed building is perfect for small parties, for intimate, romantic ceremonies and pre-reception drinks. It can accommodate up to 20 of your closest family and friends for a unique and unforgettable wedding ceremony.

Stay at The Vean 

Ever fancied your own Georgian manor house where you can hold dinner for 20 before the wedding and have a fabulous barbie afterwards, The Vean is the perfect choice. It’s a beautifully restored Georgian country house nestled in the beautiful Porthluney Valley offering luxury accomodation for up to 8 guests.  Licensed for civil ceremonies the Vean offers luxury accommodation for 16 guests in total. Receptions for up to 150 people can be held in a marquee on the lawn.

A Marquee by the beach

Beach Meadow is a stunning beachside marquee location overlooking Porthluney Cove with access to the water’s edge. This beautiful meadow is the perfect venue for wedding receptions and other events. The Castle Field with views of the castle and lake is an impressive location for receptions in a marquee for up to 250 guests.

A wedding at Caerhays also makes it easy for guests as they can hire a range of luxury estate cottages from Caerhaysholidays.co.uk from Fish Sheds to the Lime Kiln to the Rabbit Warren – there’s a wide range of individual, beautifully restored properties for all your guests.
